I painted this while I was in Guam, and then while I was in Nepal, and then it came back to the US. The story is about a Crane that gives birth to the world by flying over the water and dropping seed pods full of eggs and maple seeds full of people. Eventually I hope to create an entirely new book of myths that includes this painting.

This piece embodies cycles, creativity, and motherhood.
