Sawtooth Waterfalls was painted alongside Sawtooth Mountains right before I left Idaho for Guam. It is a continuation of my questioning and deconstruction of the landscape, but more importantly it is a reawakening of my ability to find peace in painting after a very tortured time painting many images that terrified me.
Much like getting to the top of a mountain is a quest to defeat fears and mental or physical challenges.
This piece embodies diligence, cycles, and self-discipline.
Printed on canvas
Hand-retouched in acrylic
All of my prints come to me first and I hand-embellish them to ensure every piece of work I sell has a part of my energy within it.
